California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010
Cascade Microtech is dedicated to responsible sourcing and protecting human rights. To that end, Cascade Microtech expects our suppliers to adopt sound human rights practices that are free of forced labor, child labor, human trafficking and slavery. We require all of our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Cascade Microtech is in the process of studying existing supply chain operations and is considering developing a company policy that would address issues related to (a) verification of product supply chains to evaluate the potential for products to be manufactured using human trafficking and slavery; (b) administration of audits to evaluate supplier compliance with Cascade Microtech standards that may be established on the avoidance of trafficking and slavery in supply chains; (c) certification by suppliers that materials incorporated in their products comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking; (d) maintenance of internal accountability standards for employees and contractors who fail to meet Cascade Microtech standards that may be established on the avoidance of human trafficking and slavery; and (e) training of Cascade Microtech employees and management, who have responsibility for supply chain management, on human trafficking and slavery, particularly with respect to mitigating risks within the supply chain of products.
