Cascade Microtech prides itself on maintaining a competitive and flexible benefits package. We offer a minimal waiting period for health benefits (first of month on or after your hire date), eligibility for regular (non-temporary) employees working 20 hours per week and over, and extend these benefits to domestic partners.
401(k)
- Eligibility first of month on or after your hire date.
- You may defer from 2 to 100% of your payroll, pre-tax, up to the current IRS maximum dollar amounts
- Cascade contributes a match of $0.50 for every $1.00 you contribute up to the first 6% of your deferral beginning with the first payroll of the month following 6 months of employment
- Match is deposited into your account each payroll date
Health
- Choose from two medical plans: Preferred Provider Option (PPO) or Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) both with Rx coverage. Cascade Microtech funds 90% of the employee premium and 68% of dependent premiums. (HMO available in Oregon and Northern California only.)
- Choose from two dental plans: Preferred Dental Provider plan option (PDP) or a Dental Managed Care plan option (DMO) with an orthodontia benefit. Same premium funding arrangement as the medical plans. (DMO available for Oregon based employees only.)
- Vision coverage at no cost to the employee.
- Flexible spending accounts - pre-tax savings/spending accounts for unreimbursed medical expenses and child care expense.
- Supplemental plans become available from time to time and include accident/disability income protection plans, cancer and critical illness plans.

- Tuition Assistance Plan benefits employees who desire to take job-related or job-advancement courses for credit or employees who are working toward a two-year, four-year or master’s degree or in a doctoral program relating to work or business at Cascade Microtech. Importantly, you may elect to have your tuition and book expenses paid up-front by Cascade or you may choose to be reimbursed for your self-payment.
